DAO with the help of Donor agencies is publishing Bi-Monthly magazine to create awareness the general public about their basic rights, available services, capacity building, mass media awareness, advocacy, rights and their obligations through DAO's mass media and capacity building programs. Although DAO has published 37 volume of the Gadoon magazine and distributed in all over the country. The main aim of the Gadoon magazine to exclusively published articles about the abilities of persons with disabilities therefore, this magazine has also raised awareness on how people with disabilities can become the productive members of the Afghan community.
